We are now looking for a Supply Planner to join the Availability Management team in the Global Spares Supply unit.

Global Spares Supply (GSS) plays a key role in supporting KONE’s Maintenance Business in our Winning With Customers strategy. As a Supply Planner in the Availability Management team, you will plan, coordinate and execute inbound material flow for GSS spare parts distribution centers. The Supply Planner ensures GSS DCs have optimized availability of spare parts and other maintenance materials according to forecasts.

This position is located in Hyvinkää, Finland. This is a fixed-term, maternity leave replacement, until 31.12.2020.

Main responsibilities

  • Plans and executes purchase orders for GSS distribution centers to ensure continuous availability of spares
  • Continuously optimize and balance forecasts, stock levels, safety stocks, reorder points, order quantities and supply chain cost
  • Systematically communicates demand volume forecasts and changes to suppliers
  • Retrieves order confirmations, clarifies deviations and updates POs accordingly
  • Monitors exceptions and follows up daily issues regarding inbound material flow
  • Ensures compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards
  • Key Performance Indicator follow-up and improvement

Skills, education and experience

  • You understand the total supply chain and role of supply planning in spare parts
  • You have experience in procurement and inventory planning processes
  • You have collaborative & customer focused way of working
  • You are fluent in English
  • You may hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a supply chain related field
  • Experience in inventory planning and procurement applications, e.g. SAP MM, PTC Servigistics is an added benefit
