Job description

Join us in Orion's Managing with Information transformation journey! You will play a key role in developing reporting and analytics solutions for Orion. You innovate new solutions and ways of working together with Orion's businesses and functions. You will support businesses in adopting new technologies in advanced analytics.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure that existing solutions meet the needs of the business and are utilized to maximum extent
• Work closely with business users to understand their frame of work and need in reporting and analytics.
• Translate business requirements to informative business dashboards and other innovative analytics solutions
• Develop and support existing Orion SAS Visual Analytics dashboards as well as their related datasets
• Support the business in transforming their culture to utilize advanced analytics
• Participate in life cycle management of relevant solutions and services
• Utilize external resources and networks efficiently

In this position you can choose to work at either the Espoo or the Turku office. 

Requirements:

You can be already an expert in using SAS or other modern data modelling and visualization technologies or a recent graduate with keen interest in becoming an advanced analytics professional. Understanding of modern visualization tools as well as data lakes, Hadoop, SAP BW and other modern data warehouse and cloud technologies are considered a plus. Fluent English and Finnish, both written and oral are a must to succeed in this role.
