Wärtsilä Energy Business is looking for a Trainee to the Trade Finance team. The team´s main task is trade risk mitigation carried out mainly through banking instruments used in international trade (Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and other securities). Energy Business Trade Finance Team is also responsible for FX hedging, cash management and some internal reporting. We also provide general support and advice to the whole business from various financial aspects.
 
This position is located in Vaasa, Finland. The position is temporary trainee position for 6 months. 
 
Responsibilities

Trade Finance Trainee is responsible for assisting the team in its most common tasks like managing bank guarantees and letters of credit as well as internal reporting, some invoice handling and cash flow follow up.
 
Requirements 

- Fluent English language skills.
- Recently graduated or at the final stage of university degree studies in Economics (MSc. preferred).
- German or French skills seen as an advantage.
