Wärtsilä Information Management is looking for an Agile Trainee (Information Management Trainee). 
  
This position is located in Vaasa, Finland. The position is temporary trainee position for 6 months.  
  
Responsibilities 


The Agile Trainee will be part of a team educating employees at all levels in the organisation on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work. As part of a team the Agile Trainee provides training sessions and teaches valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies. The Agile Trainee is responsible for guiding teams into the Agile methodology, providing feedback and means of improvement. The Agile Trainee provides hands-on support, collaborates widely with people across the organisation, leading teams toward understanding and adopting Agile. This includes every stage of adoption, from the introduction of Agile and employee education, to fostering teams and cultures that practice Agile, to sustaining Agile methodologies and continually offering strategies for improvement. The responsibilities of the Agile Trainee include implementing the Agile process, principles and practices across all levels and departments in the organisation. The Agile Trainee must use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability and transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation. 
  
Requirements  


In order to succeed with the planned responsibilities, the Agile Trainee must understand the Agile principles and lead by example. Agile Trainees should be enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits. The Agile Trainee will be part of a team working as educators and coaches, and should have great interpersonal skills, teaching abilities and a capacity to inspire and motivate. Studies in Information Systems, Information Technology, Economics or Business Administration would be requirements. Some experiences from programming and software development would be desired, but even more important is a strong knowledge of Agile concepts and methodologies. Strong communication and presentation skills in English are necessities for the position.
