Indirect Purchasing (IP) is organised part of Supply Management in Wärtsilä. Procurement Center function develops Wärtsilä IP tools and way of working globally regarding source-to-pay process. Development Manager, Indirect Purchasing, is a global role and he/she is part of Procurement Center team in Wärtsilä IP organisation. 

Development Manager, Indirect Purchasing is responsible of continuous development and operational excellence at IP globally. He/she is actively capturing opportunities to develop and harmonize current practises related to software and processes used in IP globally. He/she is in a key role to master different kind of development projects and facilitate workshops and implement changes. The role is very hands on but requires strategic thinking and excellent communication skills at all levels of organisation. The role includes also managing global concepts, instructions and ongoing programs.

Location is Helsinki, Finland and the position is permanent.

Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of source to pay process
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong skills in Coupa, SharePoint, MSBI and SAP related to S2P process and vendor master data
- Experienced in change management, project management and service design
- Proactive and structured way-of-working
- Innovative and positive
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Pro-active, self-driven, fast learner and good team-worker
- Experienced in working in global matrix organisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced skills in English
- M.Sc. in Procurement/Finance/Technology or other similar suitable education  
- Experience in global projects and their implementations
- Experience in developing and automating S2P processes
- Experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement projects
