OpenText Business Network Engineering is strengthening its global presence in Tampere location, and we are looking for a new Lead Software Engineer to join the development team developing platform services for micro-services based platforms.

You are great at:

- Analyzing new requirements and recommending the approach to implement.
- Implementing new features, and follow-up on them to make sure the land into production and help resolve any issues there if needed.
- Actively participating sprint planning and other scrum team ceremonies.
- Collaborating with OpenText Enterprise Architects and UX designers that implementation is aligned with the blueprint of the product.
- Growing to be subject matter expert for the specific micro services you are assigned to.

What it takes:

- Enthusiasm to write good code and understand the testability and delivery of software to the end customers.
- You know how to meet the goals for performance, stability, scaleability, disaster recovery and easy to maintain for a service using Elastic Search and Cassandra.
- Programming skills in Java with Tomcat, Spring Boot and Jetty. Also familiarity of reactive frameworks like vert.x and Akka.
- Ability to work as scrum master and/or in a tech.lead/architect role.
- 7+ years of experience.

- Working with DevOps based practices with familiarity on test automation, Docker containers, Kubernetes and creating software for SaaS in multi-cloud environments.
- Experience of either using or developing cloud based object storage solutions.
