The Department of Applied Physics at the Aalto University School of Science is looking for a
STAFF SCIENTIST
to a 3 year fixed-term position at the Otaniemi campus.
The Department of Applied Physics (http://physics.aalto.fi) is one of the biggest departments of Aalto University. The department carries out an ambitious research programme in basic and applied physics as well as in many areas with direct links to industry and interesting technological development. Job description The position is located in The Quantum Computing and Devices (QCD) group (https://www.aalto.fi/en/department-of-applied-physics/quantum-computing-and-devices-qcd) The Staff Scientist will be responsible for supporting the research environment of the QCD group. Salary, working time and place of work The salary is based on the salary system of Finnish universities. The applicants may also present their own salary expectations. In addition to salary, the contract includes Aalto University occupational healthcare. The annual total working time of research and teaching staff at Aalto University is 1624 hours. The position is located at the Aalto University Otaniemi campus in Espoo, Finland.
