Tehtävä

Tampereen yliopiston Lääketieteen ja terveysteknologian tiedekunnan bioteknologian ja biolääketieteen tekniikan tutkinto-ohjelmassa  on haettavana 18 harjoittelijan paikkaa kesälle 2020. Harjoitteluaika on vähintään 2 kk. Harjoittelija sijoittuu johonkin Tampereen yliopiston Lääketieteen ja terveysteknologian tiedekunnan (MET) tutkimusryhmään. Tiedekunta vastaa yhden kuukauden osalta harjoittelun aiheuttamista palkkakustannuksista ja vastaanottava tutkimusryhmä sitoutuu kattamaan loput kustannukset.

Hakijan ei ole syytä olla yhteydessä tutkimusryhmiin hakuvaiheessa eikä hakemuksessa tarvitse yksilöidä tutkimusryhmää, jossa mahdollisesti haluaisi työskennellä.

Edellytykset

Hakijan tulee olla Tampereen yliopiston bioteknologian ja biolääketieteen tekniikan tutkinto-ohjelman (tai tämän edeltäjien), Master´s Degree Programme in Biomedical Technology -ohjelman tai Master’s Degree Programme in Biomedical Sciences and Engineering -ohjelman opiskelija.

Harjoittelupaikat on tarkoitettu kaikille opiskelijoille ensimmäisen vuoden opiskelijoista alkaen. Harjoittelupaikkaa ei myönnetä henkilölle, joka on aiemmin työskennellyt harjoittelutehtävässä vastaavalla rahoituksella. 

Harjoittelupaikat jaetaan opintomenestyksen perusteella. Harjoittelun jälkeen opiskelijan on kirjoitettava raportti ja palautettava se opintokoordinaattori Riitta Aallokselle (riitta.aallos@tuni.fi) viimeistään  30.9.2020.

Tarjoamme

Harjoittelijan palkka on 1500 euroa kuukaudessa. Tehtävässä on 1 kk koeaika.

Hakuohjeet

Jätäthän hakemuksesi yliopiston sähköisellä hakulomakkeella. Hakemukseen tulee liittää mukaan lyhyt ytimekäs vapaamuotoinen saatekirje, ansioluettelo ja kopio opintosuoritusrekisteriotteesta.  Hakijaa pyydetään lisäämään opintosuoritusrekisteriotteeseen opintosuoritustensa painotettu keskiarvo, mikäli sitä ei ole valmiiksi merkitty (entisen TaY:n opintorekisteriote). Hakemus tulee toimittaa viimeistään 12.2.2020  klo 23.59.

Harjoittelupaikan saaneille ilmoitetaan valinnasta viikolla 8.

Job desciption

Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology, Biotechnology Degree Programmes at the Tampere University calls for applications for trainees for summer 2020 for 18 students for period of minimum 2 months. The students will work in the research groups in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology at the Tampere University. The faculty will defray one month of the salary costs and the responsible research group the rest. Applicant is not meant to contact a research group during the application period. Furthermore in the application applicant doesn´t need to identify the research group he/she would like to recruit to.

Requirements

Prospective applicants should have a study right at the Tampere University in the Degree Programme in Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering, in the Master’s Degree Programme in Biomedical Technology and in the Master´s Degree Programme in Biomedical Sciences and Engineeering. 

The work placement is open to all students of the above mentioned degree programmes, it welcomes applications also from the first year students. The person who previously has had a stipend as applicable  is not eligible to apply. 

The main criteria for making a decision is a success in studies.  After the work placement the student is asked to send a report to Study Coordinator Riitta Aallos no later than 30.9.2020.

We offer

The salary is 1500 euros per month. A trial period of 1 month applies.

Please submit your application by the online form.  Applicant must attach in the application a short motivation letter, CV, a copy of the transcript of academic records. Applicant is asked to mark the weighted average (if not marked the transcrip of records). The closing date for applications is on 12th of February, 2020 (at 23:59 EET) 

The result of the selection will be published in the week 8.
