I am Marianna, the leader of the Frontend Development & Platforms team in Helsinki. Right now, I am looking for Senior Developers in the team, which is building Telia’s future Online services, like eCommerce, Self-Care, Apps for Consumer and Business segments, but we are also gracefully heading toward innovations like robotics, AI and machine learning.

Your next challenge?

In this position, you will be part of a self-organized team, working as a developer closely together with business people, UX and visual designers and other developers. Our Online platform is built on modular, Event Driven Architecture, shared component library, cloud based Microservices. Your responsibility will not only be implementing code, but also truly care about the product you will be working on. You will join our Developer Community to improve our stack, ways of working and extend the modern development culture across Telia Finland.

We are very passionate about technology and therefore our team utilizes latest modern development tools like React, Node.js, GraphQL, Github, cloud native environments, Microservices, Design System, Devops and methods like Pair-Programming, TDD, BDD and many more.

Who are you?

We are a team of motivated professionals, who are interested in creating meaningful digital services. In order to fit our team, you have great personality and also same motivation and drive as our team members have. We expect you to have good English communication skills, basics of Finnish language are appreciated. To succeed in this position, you have to be forward thinking, proactive and have excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems. You truly care about code quality and the output. We highly appreciate, if you have a passion for new technologies, patterns and frameworks and you are willing to expand your knowledge further, as well as, share your mastery within your colleagues.

Appreciated experience:

• Strong experience in JavaScript technologies (e.g. React, NodeJS, GraphQl, SQL, TypeScript)
• Deep understand of Functional Programming, Object oriented programming
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline with Automation (Ansible, Terraform), deployment process, Docker, AWS or relevant
• Extra points for experience in Event Driven Architecture (Kafka or similar)
• Experience in agile development methods and practices, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, TDD
• Extra points for knowledge in SalesForce
