Now we are looking for a Lead System Designer with strong technical background and drive to learn and master new areas of expertise. You will be part of a cross-functional team developing cutting-edge respiratory monitoring devices and accessories.
Essential Responsibilities
Your role is to:
- Lead the design team and design control process from requirements development and design planning, to design verification and transfer to manufacturing
- Specify and manage system requirements in cooperation with cross-functional teams
- Ensure that projects achieve the design objectives required to meet quality, regulatory, customer and business needs
- Conduct and participate in design reviews
- Create and maintain good design documentation
- Manage projects’ technical risks
- Interact seamlessly and efficiently in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, global environment
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline
- Relevant engineering work experience
- Experience in developing complex engineering products including software and hardware
- Self-starter and quick learner with knowledge of relevant technologies
- Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues
- Demonstrated abilities and skills in working, influencing and communicating in a diverse global environment and with a global team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
- EU work permit
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline
- Demonstrated broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc)
- Product development experience in highly regulated businesses (like medical)
- Experience with standards requirements, standards compliance testing, regulatory submissions/documentation
- Experience in leading peers throughout product development life cycle
- Experience in starting and leading change improvements initiatives
