Wärtsilä Marine Power Supply, Customer Delivery, is looking for a Project Engineer to join our project engineering team. As a Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of our experienced multiproduct and cross-functional team. You will be responsible for providing invaluable support in executing customer delivery projects, covering a diverse range of project tasks.


We offer you a role with responsibilities and great prospects for personal growth. You will primarily focus on Catalyst products but also possibilities to work with other Wärtsilä products for a comprehensive experience.


The position is permanent and the location for this position could be location between Finland, Italy, Netherlands. The ideal candidate shall have a structured and systematic way of working, with good team working and communication skills, especially in remote Teams conditions, is essential.    
 
As a Project Engineer your work will include:

  • Supporting customer delivery project engineering for catalyst products
  • Creating project engineering BOMs in Teamcenter engineering system
  • Building project engineering BOM in SAP for material management
  • Preparing and providing project-specific documentations
  • Generating purchase order requests and service notifications, managing internal tasks and orders for projects
  • Working in close co-operation with project team, engineering, purchasing and product management teams
  • Improving internal customer project data and documentation flow

Requirements for the position: 

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering
  • Proficient in both written and spoken business English
  • Cross functional approach in working
  • Team working, communication and collaboration skills
  • Good IT software skills; MS Office tools etc.

To be able to succeed in the position you have: 

  • SAP and Teamcenter experience
  • Systematic and proactive way of working
  • Experience in project management processes
