Marine Global Business Support Centre (GBSC) is looking for a Coordinator, Invoicing & Export Documentation to join the team. GBSC is a global competence and expertise centre for FICO activities in project business within Marine Power. The main functions are project creation, taxation, trade finance, invoicing and export and project control. GBSC is responsible for ensuring high class quality in optimised processes and usage of tools. GBSC is providing these services to an increasing number of legal companies.

We are looking for an eager and productive doer with good attitude and problem-solving skills to whom we provide a versatile position with global insight. You will be reporting to General Manager, Invoicing & Export and Taxation.

This permanent position is located in STH, Vaasa, Finland.

Main responsibilities are:

  • On time and accurate project invoicing
  • Preparation and co-ordination of export documentation as well as documents required for the customer’s import clearance procedures
  • Documentation required by Letter of Credit
  • Ensuring high quality, correctness and accuracy in the responsibility areas as well as compliance towards tax and customs authorities

Requirements:

  • Commercial education (Bachelor’s degree)
  • At least one year working experience from project invoicing and/or export documentation
  • Good understanding of foreign trade, Incoterms and VAT
  • Good understanding of Wärtsilä’s customer delivery projects and payment terms used
  • General understanding of the financial procedures and guidelines in Wärtsilä
  • Good knowledge of SAP especially PS and SD modules
  • Excellent co-operation, influencing, communication and negotiation skills
  • Good command of English and Finnish or Swedish both in writing and speaking. Other languages will be an advantage.
  • Strong team player with positive and ‘can-do’ attitude with customer focus
  • Proactive, structured, and goal-focused approach.
