We are now looking for a Manager, IT Service Owner, Plywood production for a permanent position in UPM IT Business Services organization.

UPM IT Business Services has the end-to-end service ownership and global delivery accountability for the business services delivered by IT.

What you’ll do

• You will be accountable of end-to-end IT services in Plywood production environment
• You will play a key role in capturing business demand and managing the development portfolio in close co-operation with business stakeholders
• You will participate in business process design and translation of business requirements into IT solutions and/or services
• You will identify and lead opportunities for process and service improvements
• You will ensure that ongoing service delivery meets agreed Service Level Agreement and fulfils business targets and needs
• You will support IT solution architects to create development roadmaps
• You will manage services’ budget and coordinate spend against business value
• You will participate and lead IT solution development projects
• You are accountable of up-to-date service documentation, CMDB and IT Controls accuracy

Who you are

• You have master’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent university degree and several years’ work experience with Production area processes and IT solutions
• You are a team player with strong customer mindset and delivery focus
• You understand complex business requirements and are capable to fulfill business targets with the support of IT Architects and Partners
• You have wide scope expertise of Enterprise Architecture, business processes and solutions especially in Production area
• You have general understanding of Data Warehouse principles and reporting tools
• You are actively studying technology trends and future possibilities to be able to promote new and cost-efficient solutions
• You are familiar with project management practices in order to ensure high quality project delivery
• You are familiar with IT Service Management (ITIL) processes
• You have good influencing, coaching and communication skills as well as strong drive, motivation and sense of accountability
• You are fluent in written and spoken Finnish and English
• Experience in IT Service management, Service Design, Business Intelligence, Analytics and Cloud Platforms are seen as an asset
