We are now looking for a Solution Architect who can join our team and support our DevOps teams to navigate the API landscape. You will have the opportunity to work with our IT solutions and collaborate with architects from the BU´s.
 

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to shape the future with your integration, TMF Open API and Open Digital Architecture (ODA) expertise. You need to have profound technical capabilities and be able to explain and sell that to non-technical audience. As a member of this team, you will play a key role with planning, roadmaps and sparring in your responsibility areas.

As a Solution Architect at Telia, you will work as responsible of architecture of solution areas and create options, scenarios and plans for developing them forward. You will work together with related architects in your area to understand the bigger picture and bring that knowledge to solution level. You also know you solution areas deeply to provide guidance and planning to product owners and DevOps teams. Working with consultants and vendors, as well as guiding them is part of your work.

You have knowledge on integration platforms and integrations, TMF Open APIs, TMF ODA, REST- based APIs, API process from design to implementation to publishing, related tools and platforms on API environment and in general how APIs are providing value to Telia Transformation and business.

The role also includes, but are not limited to:

• Finding the best possible solutions to business problems including observing business activities technically and discussing expectations and solutions at the Release Train/team level.
• Willingness and ability to create a roadmap from the perspective of a long-term view.
• Knowledge of information systems within your domain.
• Supporting development and colleagues with best practices.
• Document, visualize, and update the architecture of solutions.

We think that you have a passion for the API area and knowledge and experience within this and that you thrive in a changing environment where you can make a difference.

Your experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or another relevant education.
• 5+ years of solid experience in solution architecture and software development.
• Experience with agile methods and frameworks, i.e. SAFe.
• Good skills in both written and spoken English.

All the experience and knowledge below would be an advantage:

• Knowledge from the Telia Standard Interface (TSI).
• Experience with large-scale IT.
• Experience from the Telecom industry.
• Several years of work experience as a Senior Developer, Architect, or equivalent position.
• Proven ability to design and implement standardized IT architecture principles and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding Telia development model, Agile principles, and experience with Scrum.
• Fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Knowledge of ITIL, Application Framework (TAM) or relevant certifications are a plus.
