GE Healthcare, a leading global health technology provider, has strong presence in Helsinki. In the Vallila district, we are 700+ people from over 25 countries, helping healthcare providers improve patient care. We're looking for a summer intern to implement and design software components used in Linux based patient monitor environment as part of the scrum team. In this role you'll also support security testing of patient monitors.
Essential Responsibilities
- Implement, document and test software components under the guidance from the development team
Qualifications/Requirements
- Studying Bachelor's or Master's degree in SW engineering, SW development, Computer Science or equivalent
- Linux command line scripting skills
- C experience
- Basic understanding of the Linux operating system
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Desired Characteristics
- Work experience, or study activities in relevant area
- Experience with Python
- Lots of curiosity
