Right now, I am looking for a talented Solution Engineers in my team. My name is Mikko Koljander and I am responsible for the device and software services in group unit Common Products and Services, Product Area IT Services.

Our unit is responsible for development and support of Telia’s common commercial Device as a Service and Software as a Service -products sold by all our countries.

In modern workplace solution area, we develop and support centralized device management customer solutions for modern devices running iOS, Android, Windows 10 & macOS.

Here is a chance to help our customers design their journey to faster and more flexible solutions and help them implement it.

As a Solution Engineer in our team, you will be in the front-line of our customers and work with Modern Clients and solutions (IAM/CASB solutions, Android Enterprise, Apple Business Manager, Jamf, MobileIron, MS Office 365, Intune, Autopilot etc.) by developing and supporting our cross-border production capabilities.

Your responsibilities as a Solution Engineer will include:

  • Requirements management and solution design for customer service transition
  • Change and problem management responsibility of platforms in production
  • Subject matter expert of your product area
    • Serve as a product evangelist to the technical communities internally and externally
    • Support our helpdesk function in the highest level of incident escalation and problem management
  • You constantly keep your competence at the TOP of the global level by being responsible of accomplishing necessary technology vendor certifications

You have:

  • 5+ years ICT industry experience and practical evidence of design and implementation of ICT-technology solutions: You have designed, implemented and managed several of following device management platforms: 
    • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager/WDS, Miradore, Microsoft Intune, MobileIron VSP/MobileIron Cloud, VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE, Citrix XenMobile, IBM MaaS360, Jamf
  • Familiarity with technologies and infrastructure services such as AD, LDAP, CA, VPN, MDM, OAuth, SAML
  • Several technology vendors’ (e.g. Microsoft, VMware, Citrix) valid certifications to back you up
  • Capability of identifying root causes to problems and creating analytical with well-known frameworks
  • Strong social skills to navigate through the complex international organizations and engage with external and internal people on both high and low level
  • Service Management (ITIL) experience is highly appreciated
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, fluent Finnish and/or Swedish will be valued
