Job Description


We are looking for joyful Elves, who'll be Santa's helpers in creating the magic of Christmas. In order to be a perfect fit for this role, you are a flexible, outgoing and social person, who enjoys telling stories and entertain. Your main quality should be empathy and genuine love for children, as these will be your main audience and those who you'll be showing a memorable time.

In addition to your work as Santa Claus, when the activity is not offered, you can complement your hours by working as a supporting guide, guest service attendant or help in any other department.

Elf responsibilities are:

  • Greeting customers
  • Entertain guests
  • Impeccable performance for every experience
  • Ensuring the safety of our guests at all times
  • Flexibility to respond to different work conditions - Remain calm and offer positive advice to guests
  • Develop/maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.


Elf's requirements are:

  • Entertainment education or equivalent
  • Improvisation and acting skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Valid B drivers' license
  • First Aid certificate
  • Storyteller
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Work outdoors for long periods of time, darkness and under very low temperatures


It would be beneficial for an Elf to:

  • Wilderness Guide education or equivalent
  • Speak other languages: Finnish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish and French are an advantage.
  • Local knowledge and photography skills are an advantage
  • Experience in any other department
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage.


Pay, duration and benefits:

  • Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period.
  • Starting in November and until the end of March.
  • Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience
  • Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement.
  • If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €200,00/month
