ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a talented and experienced R&D manager to help us building a world class Cash Management software. Succeeding in this mission is based on successfully developing and inspiring great people, great product and close collaboration with different stakeholders.

In this position, you will lead a Cash Management R&D and will collaborate on a daily basis with other teams in different locations.  As an R&D manager, you will also be a key contact person with other people in other functions like product management, customer support, SaaS operations and professional services.

Main responsibilities:

• Produce high quality, secure and maintainable software together with R&D teams
• Work in close co-operation with other professionals like testers, UX designers, DevOps engineers, Cloud specialists and other software development stakeholders
• Continuously develop a modern software development culture by bridging product owners, developers and operations into dynamic and agile virtual team
• Be the strategic leader for the R&D team by establishing team direction, schedules, key objectives and team plan
• Resourcing and talent management of our Cash Management development professionals

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU? 

• 7+ years in R&D management position
• Expertise with architecture of cloud-based software
• Experience in managing subcontractors
• Expertise working with Agile and Lean practices
• Some expertise in Cash Management business domain
• Great presentation and communication skills
• Expertise and motivation in developing teams
• Good communication, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
• A true people leader

To succeed in this role you also need to have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work in a global organization in a virtual team environment. We are in contact with our international colleagues on a daily basis and English is our official language.
