We are now looking for a TRAINEE for Communications and Community Relations, Viikki campus team

Your main tasks as a trainee include various communication and marketing related duties that our Viikki campus communications team is responsible for. Your duties focus strongly on communication activities targeted at our international and English speaking target groups. As a Viikki campus communications team member, you will also provide communication related services and consultation to all four faculties located on Viikki campus. Your tasks can be adjusted according to your previous experience, skills and personal interests.

We expect you to have at least some proven experience related to communications, journalism or marketing and a high motivation to learn more by doing. Useful skills and experience of a trainee include for example communication planning, production of different types of content, copywriting and editing, and expertise in web publishing and social media. Graphic design, photo and video skills are an additional asset. You also need to have an excellent command of verbal and written English. Knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage. In addition, we hope that you have initiative and enthusiasm to learn, ability to take initiative and to work independently as well as within a team.

The duration of a traineeship is 1 September to 31 December 2020 (four months) of part-time (50%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €700 per month for a part-time (50%) trainee.
