In the role of Service Manager, you will be part of the Mobile Data Services unit in Network Systems & Delivery (NSD), Telia Company’s Group Technology organization. You will take a leading role in the development and maintenance of the excellence of Mobile Data  Services across our Nordic and Baltic networks. The unit is responsible for the Service life cycle from development through operational phases and includes Solution Management and Service Management roles which act E2E across network domains. The main services managed by the unit include Mobile Data (MHS-Mobile Data & Messaging), MBB, FWA, Corporate/Business Access, EMN, IoT/M2M.

The role as a Service Manager includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:    

• Leading activities across NSD and wider organization, fostering collaboration by building trust and strong collaborative relationships 

• Understanding quality of the Service from a customer perspective

• Defining performance metrics to visualize Customer Experienced Service performance  

• Regular following up the performance of the Mobile Data Network Services with proactive addressing deviations  

• Driving improvements in our Way of Working, related to performance and automation of performance monitoring 

• Following up important country issues within NSD, representing the local country  

• Maintaining an overview of the risks related to the Service and manage these risks with relevant Stakeholders  

• Securing Service Continuity Plans are available for important services

Your Experience:    

• Deep technical knowledge of Network solutions including a detailed understanding of how E2E Network Services are configured, produced, and monitored 

• A successful record of accomplishment defining and delivering complex solutions, including 3-5 years' experience working in complex cross functional network solutions  

• A proven ability to lead and energize people as well as nurture strong cross-functional collaboration, including 5 years of experience in a leading role, such as a line manager or program/project/production manager 

• Experience of SAFe framework, and ITIL      

• Good understanding of the industry and customer insights   

• M. Sc. Degree in Engineering or equivalent education   

• Fluent English, both in writing and orally

Network Systems & Delivery (NSD) is the central unit for Telia's network. NSD is accountable and responsible for architect, designing, developing, operating, and assuring Network assets and services across Transport, Core, Access, Cloud, and Service Networks. This also includes lifecycle and E2E service experience for common network systems. We design, develop, operate, and handle innovative and high quality, and cost-efficient systems that enable Telia’s customers to use high qualitative services.   

On the way to Reinvent better connected Living, we are now changing our organizational structure to become even more customer and service-focused, still based on solid technical knowledge in the network domains.
