Why we’re opening this role
Wolt is expanding our Performance Marketing power toward one of our latest markets named Japan and we are now looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager to join us and focus mainly on growing the online marketing investment in Japan. Our performance marketing team are experts in both digital marketing & analytics. Within the team, you’ll launch and manage a large-scale budget of user acquisition and engagement campaigns on all digital marketing channels across multiple regions and in close collaboration with local marketing teams. The role will be based either in Wolt’s Tokyo or Helsinki office and directly report to the Head of User Acquisition.

About the Role

  • Design, manage, implement, and execute performance marketing strategies for both acquisition and reengagement in our Japanese market.
  • Implementing, managing and optimising marketing campaigns on both Web & Mobile across Facebook, Google, Twitter, YahooAds, LineAds, Ad Networks as well as Programmatic
  • Working closely with other members of the Marketing team across all regions; HQ and International
  • Working towards clear marketing KPIs such as ROI, CAC & LTV
  • Manage stakeholder interests and provide ongoing feedback / reporting analysis
  • Identify top performing mobile marketing partners and build strong relationships
  • Proactively do continuous A-B testing strategies and performance analysis in order to optimize the channel performance
  • Implement & Troubleshoot attribution/ tracking issues
  • About You

  • 3-4+ years proven track record in Web & Mobile User Acquisition, preferably for gaming/tech/app/e-commerce/mobile industry and specific experiences in some subset of Facebook, Google, Twitter & Programmatic.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Facebook & Twitter marketing (either on Ad Manager or FMP) , managing & scaling your own budget, in mobile or E-commerce industry
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and optimize a monthly multi-million dollar acquisition budgets and doing in-house media buying for Japanese market 
  • Solid experience working with web & mobile tracking/attribution 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheets (e.g vlookup, pivot etc.)
  • A passionate and organized self-starter, who doesn’t accept the status quo, but always seeks to improve and automate workflows in order to increase performance. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Japanese
