Insurance platform transformation program. In our program tribe we are transforming our insurance business into a new platform handling insurances, billing & collections and claims. We support insurance business transformation with new services and automated back-end processes, while replacing the legacy systems over next several years. We are also replacing many supporting systems around the core systems, which provides a good understanding of our complex IT landscape.
We are looking for two Lead Developers; Claims Management and Policy Management Teams. In this demanding Lead Developer role, you need to be prepared to design system architecture, drive development, code, and handle the more technical aspects of a vendor relationship. Primarily, architecture, data flows and implementing integrations to the purchased system from OP legacy systems. You will also lead multiple developers, maybe even the whole Scrum team if you are willing and able. That, in a nutshell, is the job!
We pay attention to these professional competencies:
- Experience from large system renewal programs
- Work experience of Java Technologies
- Experience from configuring commercial products
- Experience from insurance, banking and financial domain
- Experience of mentoring software team and being the spiritual Leader
- Knowledge of Guidewire Insurance Suite solutions is a huge asset
- Fluent English language skills, Finnish is an asset
You will lead the vision of technical things with normal technical work, problem solving and in analyzing production problems while we constantly improve our methods. You will get to influence how we work, not just what we are building. You will work with several other highly talented teams of developers, with plenty of opportunity for you to think and practice what you’ve learned.
Who are you?
You understand architecture, you know how to lead technical development. You are a versatile developer from a wide background, and you are excellent at designing, coding. You have strong interest in improving quality and processes related to the development of technology solutions. You need to understand how to design and implement good APIs. You are interested in figuring out how the whole system works, across multiple teams.
