Digital Operations is a department inside Elisa’s Software Services unit which is leading the development and implementation of key platforms and components to advance Elisa in its journey to be the most advanced telecommunications operator in the world. We develop automation systems using cutting edge software engineering, we follow and implement agile methods, we improve daily practices and strive for overall operational excellence in whatever we do to help all activities across the wide variety available at Elisa.

We are a now looking for a Service Manager with a passion to lead and coach to join our agile internal development team. The position is in Elisa's Software Services unit, which is responsible for development of Elisa’s automation, online and emerging services.

Your main responsibilities are:

• To manage and lead our growing Network Automation Engineering team (as a Line Manager)
• To make sure agile methods are improving in software development (as an Agile Coach)
• To manage development of software packaging and release processes to production (as a Release/Change Manager)
• To collaborate with business and other stakeholders to really understand the key strategic focus areas and lead the team efforts accordingly (as a BizOps Lead)

We hope you can bring to the table:

• Experience in people management
• Several years of relevant experience in software development and agile methodologies
• Proven skills in coaching and developing an agile software team
• University degree in engineering or computer science
• Superb skills in English as our working language is English
• Enthusiastic and active attitude to push Elisa as a company to the next level

And you will benefit from:

• Professional level knowledge and experience in network operations and technologies, both core network and radio access network
• Understanding of product ownership routines and service development as a whole
• Excellent skills in Finnish
• Ideally you have proven yourself in a similar role before
