Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaners team. In this position, you will supervises all housekeeping employees, plans and assigns work assignments, gives training for newly recruited employees, audit and inspects housekeeping personal work assignment and requisition supplies.
Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities are:
- Supervise cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the entire Hotel.
- Prepare and work within the housekeeping budget.
- Maintain stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen, and uniform.
- Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures.
- Daily inspection of public areas and guest rooms.
- Immediately attending to guest requests.
- Ensures guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner
- Schedules employees to business demands and for tracks employee time and attendance
Housekeeping Supervisor requirements are:
- Valid B drivers' license
- High School diploma
- 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related area
- Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills.
- Sets a positive example for guest relations.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
It would be beneficial for a Housekeeping Supervisor:
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Valid B drivers' license
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Event Management or related field.
- Housekeeping/laundry experience in hospitality
- Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills.
- Patience and compassion when dealing with staff and guests.
- Familiar with Property Management Systems
Pay, duration and benefits:
- Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period.
- Starting in November and until the end of March.
- Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience
- Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement.
- If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €200,00/month
