As Marketing Data Analyst, you will be part of Wärtsilä Voyage Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role helping Wärtsilä Marine to succeed in its aggressive growth targets, through data-driven insights and visualisations. You are a data and visualisation guru at the cornerstone of marketing success.

You will contribute to analysing data, building, improving, and recommending marketing dashboards and actions. You will identify trends, connect dots between datasets, analyse and tell visually insightful data stories.

Responsibilities:

  • Deep diving into corporate IT architecture
  • Performing data modelling and manipulation on various marketing and sales datasets
  • Connecting the dots
  • Pulling the data
  • Creating and visualising stakeholder specific dashboards
  • Following up on account based KPIs (leads, MQLs, SQLs, conversions…) to:
    • Identify and interpret data and trends
    • Measure efficiency and performance of lead generation activities
    • Optimise opportunities and MROI improvements
  • Recommending and communicating trends, problems, improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Statistics, Math, Data Systems Management, Business informatics, IT, or equivalent background
  • 4+ years of experience in a B2B Business data or BI Analyst and visualisation role developing dashboards, analysis, reporting, data warehousing solutions
  • Data modelling and data manipulation skills
  • Programming experience in: Python, SQL
  • Experience in data visualisation tools (Power BI is a plus)
  • Experience measuring multichannel marketing REANS B2B lead generation campaigns and its enablers (tagging, GA, email funnel)
  • Experience interpreting marketing and sales data for actionable insights
  • Demonstrated project management skills, working well in a team, and ability for self-directing, taking lead on initiatives, and making evaluated recommendations on tools and actions to senior management
  • Enterprise IT architecture and tech stack knowledge

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Salesforce CRM
  • Knowledge of Marketing automation platforms (Salesforce and Pardot experience is a plus)
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
