Role Background               
Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners. 

Just 2 years ago, Wolt operated in 4 countries and 10 cities across the Nordics. Fast forward to today, we’re in 22 countries and over 80 cities across EMEA, servicing over 5M registered users. Finland is one of our biggest markets where we operate in 21 cities across the country with over 1000 restaurant partners.
 
We’re now looking for our new Head of Sales to lead our commercial team in Finland. This role is key to our growth in the region and will consist of both hands-on ‘doing’ with our restaurant partners, as well as proactively managing an enthusiastic and energetic team. You’ll be a perfect blend of strategic and analytical, coupled with a strong sales manager that puts their team’s needs first. You’ll also be extremely passionate about sales too, and will be the type of person that is always looking at new revenue generating opportunities.  

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and developing the restaurant teams, including recruiting. 
  • Owning the financial and operational performance of the restaurant team.
  • Managing all commercial activities in the market.
  • Creating and implementing the commercial strategy.
  • Conducting negotiations with large partnerships.
  • Having a deep understanding of the market and competition.
  • Developing, piloting and rolling out new concepts and growth initiatives.
  • About you - core capabilities

  • You have a real passion for sales and a strong network across Finland.
  • You enjoy leading, managing and growing a team, and have solid experience in managing sales and account management departments.
  • You have experience in analysing performance metrics and producing relevant KPIs.
  • You are able to analyse data, translate insights into strategies and create clear action plans for the team.
  • You are able to think on your feet, and multi-tasking is your second nature.
  • You’re tech-savvy and enjoy learning.
  • You have a can-do attitude and you are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • You have experience from management consulting, tech industry, or something similar. 
  • You’re fluent in Finnish and English.
