We are now looking for a senior level HR Manager to join our team to help us increase our service level towards our stakeholders. In this position you will work closely with managers located in Finland, focusing especially on labour law, mobility, as well as compensation and benefit area. You will be responsible for one business in Wärtsilä ensuring that all the HR matters are handled in a professional way. You are a manager for a professional HR specialist team.  You ensure that cooperation with partners is on an elevated level and you develop HR processes further to support business needs. We hope you have a good understanding on labour law and experience to work with working council. You are also interested in training management issues.
 
Location for this position is Vaasa or Turku, Finland.
 
You will be responsible for

• Employee engagement 
• Employee Relations and relationship with working councils/unions/ employee representatives 
• Keeping the organisation updated on labour laws
• Compensation and benefit
• Supporting organisational changes
• Coaching managers in HR policies and ways of working
• Employee relations support
• Being proactive with stakeholders
• Developing HR community processes and way of working
• Project work relating to local implementation of business initiatives
• International Mobility & commissioning

 
We hope you have

• A solid background from labour law
• Experience from HR Manager's role
• Motivation to develop HR processes and digital tools
• A proactive, development-minded and goal focused attitude to work
• A customer service mind set
• BSc or MSc level education in a related field
• Good negotiation, presentation and communication skills
• An ability to work independently and effectively on simultaneous multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish, preferably also Swedish
• An understanding of the Wärtsilä organization is considered an advantage
