I am Björn Aldorsson and I am happy to be leading the development and operations of Telia's NFVI cloud platform. We are a great bunch of people, and we deliver fantastic services to the whole of Telia Company.
Right now, we are looking to expand our NFVI team with a Technical Coordinator to strengthen our ability to further expand the platform.
Our work is performed by agile principles and according to the SAFe framework.
Your next challenge?
As a technical coordinator (SRE) within the NFVI team you will participate in various activities such as planning, documenting, and executing on platform expansions, LCM activities and providing support to the platform users.
The coordinator role will for example include:
- Ensuring that excellent standards of support are provided to the people who use our platform
- Keeping up-to-date with any changes to policies, procedures or regulations that affect the service
- Planning, coordinating and executing the handling of Lifecycle Management throughout the platform
- Planning, coordinating and executing the platform expansions together with internal and external entities
- Assisting in translating functional requirements into concrete technical tasks
- Documenting activities and processes.
Who are you?
You have a strong technical background and a keen interest to plan, communicate and coordinate complex technical activities.
Your personality:
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and in writing
- Willingness to mentor the team
- A deep interest in technology.
Your experience:
- Working with large scale solutions
- Solid technical background within design, networking or operations
- Documented experience with the VMware virtualization platform
- OpenStack competence is a bonus
- Knowledge of container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, ...)
- Working experience in the area of complex technical systems >5 years, preferably longer.
