We’re looking for a Development Engineer to be a dynamic and enthusiastic new member to our R&D team at our head office in Nokia, Finland.

Nokian Tyres is looking for what’s beyond the next generation of tyres. As part of our Design team your role will be essential in developing the innovations of tomorrow. Now we have a great chance to offer you a position on innovative R&D team where you can exploit your skills in industry leading company.

You will be working in close collaboration with different functions inside R&D, but also close collaboration with other departments inside the company is part of your routine work.

Key responsibilities:

• Creating 2D and 3D-models

     - new products and existing products

     - tyres and sidewalls

• Supporting product design team

• Creating innovations

• Developing our design process and methods

• Inventiveness and product development with our R&D team

What we expect from you:

• Relevant studies in Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)

• Your CAD skills are on a high level (preferably Creo)

• Professional experience in R&D and project work

• You are an open-minded team player with unstoppable hunger to learn new things

• You are able to use Finnish and English as working language and comfortable speaking both
