We are now looking for an Operational Purchaser of Marine Parts Services to join our spare parts team.
The position is offered temporarily for 12 months and the preferred location is Vaasa.

What you will be doing:

As an Operational Purchaser, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Preparation and execution of the purchase order process
  • Pro-active purchase order follow-up-Supplier invoice handling process
  • Supplier claim handling process
  • Actively develop the way of working in cooperation with operations support
  • Actively develop teamwork in own team and build commitment
  • Cooperate with relevant internal and external stakeholders

The following will enable you to shine in this role:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or similar
  • Experience in purchasing or logistics, preferably in the spare parts business
  • SAP knowledge

Excellent team working skills:

  • MS Office tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Supplier Portal
  • Good command in Finnish and English
  • Active approach to work
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Service mindset, openness and flexibility, as well as the ability to make things happen
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication and presentation skills
