We are looking for a Systems Architect to focus on development of our connected home security product F-Secure SENSE and to join a community of architects across the company.

SENSE protects all the home’s internet-enabled devices from cyber attacks and threats, not only computers and phones, but also smart TVs, gaming consoles, baby monitors and other IoT devices. The main elements in the SENSE solution include an agent that is integrated with target routers, apps for Android and iOS and several cloud services.

As a Systems Architect, you will be working on architecture for SENSE as a system from components and services integrated with the target routers to cloud services and end user apps. You will be working closely with a Technical Product Manager, Solution Manager development teams and your peer architects. Working with and contributing to industry forums is part of the job as well.

We expect you to know how to design systems that are secure and efficiently scaling by nature. We expect you to be able to express yourself through documentation, API specifications and occasionally in production grade code.

Our teams consist of self-driven professionals and have fluent and flexible ways of working, they self-organize and lead their own work to fulfill their goals. You’re expected to be able to do the same. However, whenever you do need help, second opinion or a sparring for a new idea, there is always someone available.

What are we looking for?

• Natural ability to produce technical documentation and communicate it
  Expert level technical skills in one or more of the domains: C/C++, Linux, mobile app development, Backend Services on AWS
• Understanding of network router technologies
• Understanding of mobile app ecosystems and infrastructure
• Quality-mindedness and attention to detail
• Understanding of software development process, esp. agile methodologies
• Knowledge of information security
• Strong communication and team working skills
• Fluent English (Finnish not required)
