🧩 Why will you become an integral part of our team?

We’re looking to improve the data flow between various BI and ETL-tools and our API product. We believe we can achieve this by having your in-depth knowledge and experience with JDBC Drivers in our team. With your help, we aim to build a layer that’ll allow the even the trickiest of BI and ETL tools to integrate with our Supermetrics API.

🛠 We think you need to have these skills and experience to be successful in this role 

• Expertise in working with and the internal workings of JDBC drivers.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Knowledge of implementing/using JDBC drivers in applications like Tableau, Qlik.
• Considerable hands-on experience in coding Java at a high level with solid understanding of object-oriented programming. 
• Considerable hands-on experience developing applications for backend APIs (e.g. REST/RPC).
• Thorough understanding of source code management using Git or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PHP (object-oriented, strictly-typed) would be a bonus and knowledge of various marketing data sources such as Google Analytics would definitely put you ahead of the pack.

💪 You’ll get to use your skills to work in practice by

• Taking the Supermetrics JDBC drivers from prototype to production and helping with Java development across the company where necessary.
• Working on expanding on our data transformation systems for and from our data integrations. We don’t just pass through data, we also transform data and expand on data sets.
• Solving programming problems from small to large, working with our lead architects to improve our code frameworks’ performance.
• Sharing your knowledge with and learning from your teammates with your excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
