At F-Secure Finance we run a highly centralized finance services supporting all Group operations. Our Financial Accounting, Tax and Treasury team is a tight but diverse group of professionals located in Helsinki, Malaysia and the UK. In our operational model we aim for high efficiency, quality and continuous development. Utilizing finance systems in the best possible way to reach our goals is at the core of our daily work.

In this role you will have a chance to be part of a global finance team operating in international environment . You will play a crucial role in managing the finance and tax compliance and statutory services of our 20+ subsidiaries around the world. We don’t expect you to be a full-blown tax specialist but rather you get to work closely with our global service provider who will be your partner in guiding us through initiatives in areas such as transfer pricing, mergers and BEPS. You also get to develop our newly set up global tax & compliance model further to serve the needs of a global, medium sized publicly listed corporation.

You also have a chance to work closely together with our end-to-end process owners in record-to-report, order-to-cash and procure-to-pay while supporting them in process development. You are expected to bring insight and development ideas that help us develop, harmonize and create structure around our internal control environment utilizing our finance systems in the best possible way.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing subsidiaries’ statutory & tax compliance services in co-op with our global service provider
• Controlling monthly inter-company activities according to Group transfer pricing rules
• Managing tax related projects such as mergers, DAC6 reporting and BEPS
• Developing & harmonizing internal control environment in co-operation with end-to-end process owners
• Leading our way from manual control activities to effective use of system and data-driven controls

What are we looking for?

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 4-5+ years experience in accounting, audit or internal audit in international environment
• Strong understanding of risks and internal controls related to financial reporting
• Adequate knowledge of taxation
• Capability to manage projects independently and make decisions (with expert support)
• Strong networking skills and ability to support decision-making in process development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Genuine interest in understanding finance systems and developing them
