We’re looking for a Development Engineer, Tyre Construction to be a dynamic and enthusiastic new member to our Research and Development at our head office in Nokia, Finland.

Nokian Tyres is looking for what’s beyond the next generation of tyres. As part of our Tyre Construction Development team your role will be essential in developing the innovations of tomorrow. We offer you a challenging role in a modern, high-performing team where you can make use of your talent.

In this position, you will work at the very core of our Tyre Development together with other skilled tyre professionals. Your work will include also close collaboration with other departments inside the company.

Key responsibilities:

•    Designing modern and innovative tyre constructions and contours

•    Developing and improving all safety, comfort and sustainability related tyre properties 

What we expect from you:

•    At least Bachelor of Engineering but Master of Science degree preferred

•    Knowledge of Strength of Materials or similar is necessary

•    Your CAE skills are on a high level

•    Programming skills and knowledge of SQL data bases are advantage

•    You are open-minded team player with unstoppable hunger to learn new things

•    Ability to use Finnish and English as working language and comfortable speaking both
