People Services organisation is supporting all Wärtsilians by delivering every day HR services in a consistent & easy way. This is done by working as one community, a seamless team and enhanced by smart technologies. People Services consist out of HR Local Professionals, Subject Matter Specialists and People Support Specialists.

About the Positions

In this role, you will work in a team of passionate HR experts in the field of Learning and Talent Development. You will be a close counterpart to the Marine business units:  Marine Power, Marine Systems or Marine Voyage. You will be strongly supporting and driving the implementation and continuous improvement of Learning & Talent Development services in a business-driven and people-centric manner, helping form a direct link between individual, team and business performance. Touchpoints outside your team will be with the CoE’s, Business HR, Business Talent Development Leads and other applicable levels of our organization and company – cooperation and collaboration are the essential key. Hence you will work with Wärtsilä colleagues globally and highly contribute to the quality of services delivered by HR.

As Learning & Talent Development Partner, you will be focusing on:
• Ensuring and executing high quality services delivered across the Learning & Talent Development Services Portfolio
• Continuously optimizing Learning & Talent Development services and making sure that all end-to-end processes are efficient and compliant, exploring global synergies and improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis
• Supporting the development of L&TD strategies, including short-term and long-term design, as well as driving their implementation and review, in line with market best practices and business needs
• Act as L&TD partner across our organization, focusing on supporting complex projects or topics
• Being part of new development pilots of L&TD services and ensuring completion of pilot-to-portfolio phase
• Evaluating and understanding the impact of L&TD Services and supporting data-driven development, turning data into actionable insight
• Teaming internally, acting as a mentor and coach around your expertise areas and foster an environment of strengths-based development

About You

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with:
• Ability to understand business strategies and translate these into actionable, compelling and agile services in line with our delivery model within the L&TD domain
• Have a wide-ranging experience in Learning & Talent Development practices and methods, preferably both in-house and in an external consultancy
• Knowledge and experience of delivering customer and end user-centric Learning & Talent Development Services and Programs
• Highly resourceful, self-driven with the ability to partner, execute and lead through influence and collaboration – across the organization
• Demonstrated curiosity and capacity for learning
• Innovate thinking applied to further improving service delivery
• Engagement, flexibility and a sense of responsibility
• Comfortable and proficient in collaborating and engaging with various stakeholders across all levels in the organization
• Solution oriented, pragmatic and innovative working style
• Know-how in change management
• Agile working and excellent prioritization skills
• Ability to use data and insight in development
• Effective project management skills, driving closure on key milestones and overseeing timely delivery
