We are now looking for a dynamic Coordinator, Parts Coordination Management to join our skilled PCM Internal Customers team. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. The role is offered as a permanent contract.

What will you be doing?

PCM Internal Customers takes care of handling spare part quotations, orders, and deliveries for the customers within Wärtsilä. We offer a high-quality working environment where you’ll have an opportunity to understand the logistics behind the movement of our parts globally and enjoy working to meet our customers’ requirements.

Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services (WGLS) manages the entire logistics chain of Wärtsilä OEM parts, from order intake to customer delivery. To accomplish this, the team is built with three delivery functions: PCM, Parts Supply (PS), and Parts Delivery (PD). PCM works with both internal and external customers to support parts offers and handle order confirmations, as well as provide critical information throughout the process to multiple stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as customer contact for spare part quotations and orders
  • Follow-up of parts deliveries, including continuous support and claim handling
  • Acting as a link between internal customers and various internal departments, while ensuring timely spare part delivery process
  • Identifying and reporting possible improvement areas in the way of working

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • B.Sc. degree in a technical field
  • Experience in customer service, spare part ordering, and logistics
  • A passion for continuous improvement practices and problem-solving
  • Fluency in English and Finnish, both verbal and written
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Knowledge of Incoterms
  • Familiarity with ICT equipment and applications

  • Customer insight
  • SAP, SD, and CS know-how
