Help us strengthen our Group Financial Control team in Espoo

As Financial Controller you are a member of Accountor Group’s Financial Control team of three persons led by Group Financial Controller. The team is part of Group Finance support function and responsible for Accountor Group’s financial accounting, consolidation, taxation and treasury matters. This permanent position is located at our headquarters in Keilaniemi, Espoo.

As a Financial Controller of Accountor Group you will

• Have an active role in monthly and quarterly consolidation and preparation of interim and annual consolidated financial statements of Accountor Group
• Make sure that the IFRS compliance requirements are met and our Group Accounting Manual is followed in our subsidiaries across the seven countries where we operate
• Advise our Finnish subsidiaries in FAS and taxation related questions
• Support our internally outsourced accounting partner in preparation of the financial statements of our five holding companies and coordinate holding company audits
• Support in M&A transactions from financial accounting point of view
• Together with the team, develop our reporting processes and instructions and participate in training the finance community in the Group

Financial Controller will work in close co-operation with the Group Business Control team, our finance teams in the countries and clusters, as well as with our Group auditors. The content of the tasks can also be somewhat tailored based on the experience and interests of the chosen candidate.

With these skills you are one step ahead

We are looking for a proactive team player with positive attitude. You are analytical and have an accurate and systematic way of working. You can deal with tight schedules and have a high sense of responsibility. To succeed, we expect you to have
 

• Relevant education (e.g. university degree in finance or accounting)
• 5+ years working experience in financial accounting positions, as well as experience in group consolidation tasks
• Knowledge of IFRS, FAS and taxation
• Experience in M&A projects and treasury tasks (e.g. internal funding, cash management) is considered as an asset
• Experience in HFM consolidation system and Microsoft D365 accounting software is a plus
• Strong skills in Excel and other MS Office tools
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken Finnish and English
