WSSC is striving for harmonized one global Wärtsilä way of working worldwide with high quality, timely, effective and efficient processes. WSSC is sharing best practices and knowledge with focus on continuous development and operational excellence.

We have now an open position as an Accountant, Admin Billing in WSSC Admin Billing team.

The position is permanent and located in Vaasa, Finland.

WSSC Admin Billing team handles administrative invoicing globally on behalf of Wärtsilä Group companies. We offer you varying work tasks and advantage of working in small, dedicated and supportive team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Re-invoicing administrative costs between Wärtsilä companies
  • Creating Admin Billing invoices, handling re-occurring invoicing, running cost reports and doing cost transfer postings related to Admin Billing
  • Ensuring usage of correct General Ledger accounts in postings
  • Ensuring correct VAT information on invoices
  • Giving guidance related to Administrative Billing to internal stakeholders
  • Participating rolling out the Admin Billing extended scope to new companies
  • Developing and harmonizing Admin Billing guidelines and practices globally
  • Participating development projects related to improving and optimizing Admin Billing processes
  • Matching of intragroup items on bank and loan accounts

You will shine in this role if you have:

  • Financial education – B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Financial Accounting
  • Pro-active attitude, self-going, fast learner, good team-worker, flexibility
  • Systematic and organized way of working, paying attention to details
  • Positive attitude and pro-active thinking, interest in process optimization
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Advanced skills in English. Other languages are an advantage.
  • Advanced IT skills – SAP FI, CO and SD modules. MS Office (e.g. Excel).
  • Knowledge and experience of Financial Accounting
  • Experience of creating Admin Billing invoices in WE-SAP is an advantage
