We are looking for a Production Planner at ABB Oy, Drive Products in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. In this role you will be responsible for frequency converters’ production planning and control in a global manufacturing environment, product and material availability management and securing on-time customer delivery. You will be an integral part of our order-delivery processes continuous development. This role reports to Production Manager.

Your responsibilities

Planning and scheduling production work queue to meet customer delivery expectations Acting as a production interface towards customer service in product delivery matters, as well as other key stakeholders, to secure timely completion of deliveries Maintaining up to date product availability data in the Sales Information System. Securing product availability from central stocks by setting stock level targets and creation of timely refills Analysing and collecting production data from various data sources and creating regular production status reports regarding delivery status, inventory levels and capacity availability Developing the order-delivery process and tools to meet business requirements, e.g. automatization of daily status reports Maintaining accurate bill of material and routing data for product costing purposes and conducting analysis for corrective actions Participating in Sales & Operations planning activities such as master production plan creation, capacity and material planning

Your background

B.Sc. in industrial management, automation, business administration or a related field Good understanding of Sales & Operations planning activities and production processes Experience of SAP Production Planning and Material Management module Skills to collect and analyse data from various sources and summarize it for actions Truly development-oriented mindset and a hands-on working attitude Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English skills Good command of MS Office tools Knowledge of PowerBI report development and ability to quickly assume new IT skills VBA programming skills are considered an advantage
