We are looking for a project manager to Kuopio to strengthen our Medical team. Your main task is to ensure the timely launch of new products, high quality and cost efficiency, and at the same time listening the customer. In your role, you lead SW development teams in product development projects related to our own products. You take grasp of the situation as soon as the requirements for new products are defined and teams are being built and you make sure that the right kind of expertise and executors can be found on site at Kuopio and at other Bittium sites. You have experience and proven track record of handling large product development projects and you are a natural when it comes to managing financial figures and reports. Communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners and especially customers are an important part of your daily work. You broadly understand technical work from a practical level, but your own strong expertise is in project management and leadership. As a leader, you utilize the principles of coaching leadership, rely on the expertise of your people, and enable their work to progress by removing and anticipating obstacles. You firmly seize operational risks and bottlenecks and seek and implement solutions in a good spirit.

To succeed you will need the following:

• Experience in planning and leading demanding software development projects
  
• You are used to implementing Agile methods and tools in your daily work (e.g. Scrum/Kanban, Jira/Confluence)
  
• You are familiar with PC Client software solutions
  
• You know C#/ .NET and JAVA -languages as well as Continuous Integration (CI) and test automation tools and methods in projects (e.g. Jenkins) on sufficient level
  
• Previous knowledge of medical technology is not obligatory, but you have the capability to understand the technical implementation of measuring biosignals
  
• Previous experience on hospital and medical technology comes handy e.g. in knowing the certification processes
