We are now looking for Junior APS Solution Developer to join the Nortal office in Oulu. We are offering unique chance to learn the ropes and master ASPROVA, an Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system that uses LEAN methodology. With ASPROVA, you will be creating seamless digital experiences to millions of users and creating production schedules at high speed for multiple items and multiple processes, fully integrating sales, manufacturing, inventory and purchase plans. You will have the possibility to work with several different customer domains and businesses whilst growing your professional skills and learning new areas.
No prior work experience is needed, but we expect you to have a degree in industrial engineering & management, minoring in computer science or vice versa. You can also be a student who has at least three years of equivalent studies under your belt, as the position can start as part-time with the expectation of converting to a full-time employee once graduated. You have already familiarized yourself with databases and interest in software development (especially with C# / .NET) is considered a big plus.
You won’t be alone in your work. We will fully support you through your onboarding and help you to quickly adjust to a new environment and be the best at your thing, but we can’t stress enough that strong team working skills and a friendly, open personality are essential.
As this position will require communication with Nortal clients, we expect you to have excellent Finnish and English skills.
