Project Supply Chain Expert 

In Marine Power, Project Services is an organisation with over 400 professionals in many locations globally and has full responsibility for retrofit projects from sales to delivery. This includes Electrical and Power Management Systems being a full lifecycle business within Project Services organisation.


Project Services will play a key role in the overall Marine Power strategy, on the retrofit side supporting customers with obsolescence management, lifetime extensions, efficiency improvements as well as decarbonisations programs enabled by fuel flexibility and hybridisation. In the new-build side, Electrical and Power Management systems will be critical for Marine Power's ability to supply integrated systems to our customers in line with the Smart Marine strategy.


In Projects Service / Project delivery we are now looking for a Project Supply Chain Expert to join our Project Support team to support teams with purchasing and logistics related matters.

The location for this position is in Finland, Vaasa. Position is permanent.

As a Project Supply Chain Expert you will be responsible of the following activities:

  • Planning of projects purchasing & logistics activities
  • Booking of shipments
  • Issuing purchases
  • Following or the purchases
  • Arranging delivery documentation (packing lists and markings for cases)
  • Intrastat reporting
  • Approval of invoices from materials vendors and logistics companies
  • Inserting materials to our material / logistics program Logwis.
  • VAT Planning

Requirements:

  • BBA education or similar
  • At least 1 year experience working in Project Supply Chain Experts role
  • Customer based mindset
  • Previous experience of working with supply chain related activities
  • Knowledge of SAP, Logwis, MS Office tools can be seen as benefit
  • Systematic way of working
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Knowledge of VAT and Incoterms
  • Fluent written and spoken English, Finnish or Swedish
