We are looking for a software engineer to our tactical communications SW team in Kajaani. For this position we can either consider a more experienced professional or someone straight out of school with the right basic set of skills and eagerness to learn more. In our many projects we can offer versatile challenges where you can really put your problem-solving skills to good use. Working closely with the team you find you role, learn from the more experienced and share your knowledge and know-how.

Job responsibilities in general:

• Developing, testing and maintaining software
  
• Debugging and refactoring existing code
  
• Writing quality code adhering to the coding guidelines

As an ideal candidate you possess these:

• Strong Python and/or C Programming skills
  
• Knowhow or interest for IP Routing
  
• Embedded Linux and/or Linux experience
  
• Unit testing experience
  
• Tools such as Git, Jenkins, Gerrit, Jira knowledge is an advantage
  
• Effective communication skills and strong problem-solving skills
  
• Experience in working with Protocol/Security SW is a plus
