We are looking for a Trainee to join the Corporate M&A team in Helsinki, Finland.

The position is a part-time trainee position, which means max 25 hours per week. The work starts as soon as the right person is found and is planned to last until the end of the year. The trainee position is targeted for university students in their 3rd year or above with focus on finance, accounting and/or industrial engineering and management. 

Key responsibilities and expectations: 

• M&A Trainee supports the M&A team by working together with the senior team members, assisting in the preparation of decision-making materials, financial modelling, valuation and reporting related tasks. 
• The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player with: 
• Analytical mindset, commitment and ability to work independently
• Solid understanding of financial modelling and valuation
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English
• Earlier work experience in investment banking, management consulting and/or corporate development is considered as an advantage but is not a prerequisite
