We are now looking for you – (Senior) Data Scientist willing to challenge the current state of industrial manufacturing – to join us. Our team's objective is to help our industrial businesses to identify and leverage opportunities to apply AI and machine learning for competitive solution offering, both in product development and in direct customer projects. We work on areas such as semiconductor manufacturing, food & beverage, safety and sales & operations planning (S&OP) with mission critical manufacturing and operational systems, building solutions using broad range of data science methods and open source toolkits. Many of our solutions involve interactive Machine Learning, i.e. they combine machine learning and expert feedback. You will take responsibility of development of new methods in these areas, engage in pilot projects, and renew our solution offering.

In order for you to complement our team in the best possible way, we hope that you:

• Have deep passion to develop new methods in applied data science. We value a varied methodological toolkit and experience from different problem areas (e.g. anomaly detection, time-series analysis, clustering & classification, predictive modeling).
• Have broad experience of applying machine learning to operational problems and systems (we lean towards python, open source libraries, and variety of tools from AWS/Azure).
• Can work effectively with data engineers and software developers in early stages of product development process.
• Have suitable education (e.g. PhD / MSc in computer science, operations research, statistics, or other relevant field).
• Want to work in a fast-paced and agile international environment, getting your kicks from seeing your ideas being realized in practice.
• Are cool with having somewhat goofy, but extremely professional co-workers of various backgrounds and nationalities.
• Are fluent in English. Italian and/or German language skills are an advantage.

We will be even more thrilled if you, in addition, have experience from customer projects and direct communication with customers, have been responsible for complex AI/ML implementation projects in operational setting, or have experience of software development for enterprise customers.
