Business Transformation Services (BTS) is the Management Consulting arm within the SAP Services organization. In the European region BTS is comprised of 400+ consultants in total who provide all kind of management consulting and holistic transformation services to SAP customers. The key competencies of BTS consultants are a very profound understanding of industry core and supporting processes (LoB), expert-level control of the respective SAP-centric application architectures, large-scale business and IT transformation program management skills, and strategic IT Management and Enterprise Architecture. 

The mission of BTS is to support our customers in their IT-enabled business transformations across the entire life-cycle i.e. from the value identification, through change implementation to the business benefit realization phase and holistically in all domains of change (processes, organization and governance, people, and technology).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Customer relationships
-    Become a Trusted Advisor focused on delivering the desired business outcome from investments in SAP software
-    Co-ordinate SAP activities across the Plan, Build and Run phases of the project lifecycle
-    Manage senior stakeholders both within the customer (up to C-level) and SAP executive sponsors)
-    Develop and agree strategic Business & Architecture Roadmaps (3-5 year timeframes). 
-    Achieve an appropriate level of individual productive utilization to ensure profitability of SAP services.

Demand Generation (Account based)
-    Create opportunities for SAP to extend its presence in the account by maintaining the on-going engagement with the customer
-    Drive enablement and education activities with local sales teams and business partners
-    Supports the account planning process including different Innovation workshops

Knowledge development and sharing
-    Invest time in keeping skills up-to-date on the latest SAP products and innovations
-    Pro-active participation in peer community to share best practices

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

-    Master’s in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required
-    Leadership: Proven thought leader, has vision of what the customer needs to meet
-    A proactive approach; always searching for new opportunities and the desire to ways do things better 
-    Deep understanding of business models and processes in the target industries

WORK EXPERIENCE

-    Proven track record of 10+ years of working experience in business and IT management consulting, both project delivery and consulting management positions
-    Proven experience in leading at least one major SAP implementation project from the design to the go-live stage is vital 
-    Deep knowledge of one or more industries and solution areas
-    Business Development experience in a large Consulting or IT company
-    Understanding of IT/business alignment, IT investments, and investment justification
