In this role you will be responsible for helping us to develop our training for customers and ABB colleagues, in Motion Service in Helsinki, ensuring our training contents are aligned with latest innovations.Reporting to the Global Competency Manager, you will facilitate the Training Center and conduct our training portfolio.

Your responsibilities

Conducting training available in the Helsinki Global Training Center portfolio in Finland or elsewhere on demand. Developing content for classroom trainings including presentations, binders and hands-on exercises and piloting them. Supporting Competency Management Team on Training Center facility supervision. Tracking and maintaining the equipment inside the Training Center making sure they are up to date and safe to work with. Creating tailor-made classroom courses on demand. Supporting Competence Management Team in administration, content development and competence architecture topics case by case.

Your background

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Vocational Trainer education or equivalent or proven minimum five years of training experience within industry. Proven experience in drives, working e.g. as Field Service or After Sales Specialist with ACS800, ACS880, ACS580 and liquid cooled drive topologies. Sound knowledge of drive commissioning and fault tracing. Familiarity with smaller drives, various motor and generator products. Knowledge of communication protocols. Knowledge of PLC, motion control equipment, mechanical knowledge and familiarity with wind turbine drives is an asset. Skills in Articulate 360, Unity platform for Virtual Reality or strong motivation to learn them are an advantage. Self-driven, resilient, team player, natural communicator, and curious to develop and learn new things. Excellent written and spoken skills in English. Finnish language skills are an advantage.
