About this opportunity

• contributing towards the continued development of the in-house Python model
• securing that the end-to-end infrastructure is functional and in line with business and regulatory requirements for the strategic forecasting tools
• liaising with model users, data providers and other Nordea stakeholders as part of both managing change and the production cycles
• be responsible for driving the development, testing and presenting of the solutions to the relevant stakeholder
• working closely with the BSM models team members and identifying new opportunities to further improve the existing solution both form an efficiency and operational risk perspective

Who you are

• It is ideal that you have experience with Python, Pandas and Numpy (other programming language is also relevant)
• Experience with handling large amount of data, extract, transform and load data in relevant databases (experience with SQL, Oracle Database and Teradata is an advantage)
• Experience and familiarity with Django and Docker EE is seen as a benefit
• Experience with Nordea’s data environment such as STARS, CRA, SAP BW, CDW is seen as a benefit
• Driven individual who is expected to take full responsibility for data analysis, changes to infrastructure set up and problem solving
• Used to delivering on agreed project milestones fostering a strong team environment
• Interest in balance sheet management and / or building models
