We are now looking for 2 chemists or chemical engineers to our Analytical services -team in Lappeenranta, Finland. The positions are two years long temporary positions. One of the positions is filled right away when a suitable candidate has been found, other position starts on September 2021.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with our R&D experts and different business units in various research, development and laboratory related tasks
• Participate in research and new product development projects in our spearhead areas
• Develop both existing analytics and new methods for different materials and businesses
• In collaboration with colleagues, make work plans and instructions for the work between the research and laboratories
• Interpret laboratory results, make conclusions and report the results to internal co-operation partners and colleague

Who you are

• You have at least a master’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
• You have experience in method and quality validation
• You are eager to learn and develop yourself
• You have good writing and verbal communication skills
• You have good problem solving and organizing skills
• You are determined and flexible and able to make decisions independently
• You are fluent in English and Finnish
