F-Secure’s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) business provides a world leading managed service that detects and responds to cyber-attacks on behalf of our clients using a strong combination of people, process and technology. Much of the technology is designed and built in house by the F-Secure engineering team specifically to support the managed service or as leveraged products that F-Secure also provides to the wider market.

Our MDR business is growing fast – and we need to bring in a Project Manager to manage the implementation of our service with our new customers and as well as managing the delivery of internal technical projects.

You will lead the on-boarding of our new customer, as well as manage the delivery of internal technical projects.

Job duties:

As a Project manager, you will part of a small team that lead the on-boarding of our new customers globally. You will create a project plan, agree the milestones and ensure all of the service components are delivered within the expected timeline. You will be the main point of contact for our customers and will work with our internal team to deliver the project and solve any issues that you might encounter.

This role is one that requires initiative, you are empowered to make important business decisions daily and need the self-motivation to do so.

• Create project plan, milestones and define a clear timeline
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues whilst managing customers and stakeholder expectations.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all project communications

• Ensure projects are delivered to time.

• Successfully manage the relationship with all project stakeholders, both with the client and within F-Secure. Work closely with the project team to ensure quality of the work delivered is maintained

• Schedule and lead project closure reviews, ensuring lessons learnt are communicated and incorporated in future projects.
• Contribute to the delivery of internal projects within F-Secure as well as process mapping and process improvements.
• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of F-Secure MDR Project Management Team

What are we looking for?

• 2-3 years’ experience in customer-facing implementation/ project management roles

• You enjoy problem solving, and always thinking outside of the box to find creative solutions to challenges. When things get tough, you will excel and rise to meet any obstacle, and get things done!

• Great organizational skills. Proven ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver multiple, complex projects on time with senior stakeholders

• A demonstrated ability to effectively document and communicate technical issues and solutions
• Able to build strong working relationships across multiple teams

• Confident at decision making and conflict management.

• Experience with working independently and driving own development

• Contributes to developing new initiatives and successful implementation of innovative approaches to problems

• Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who is able to work independently
• Willing to learn and adapt to an ever-changing industry

• Show a keen interest for cyber security picking up the technical knowledge to run the projects efficiently

• A recognised qualification in a project management methodology (e.g. ITIL, Prince2, Agile or MSP)

• Bonus points: Finnish or German as a second language
